Twitter is testing features like Mixed-media, and more

Twitter is developing a slew of new features in order to provide users with a better experience. The business has previously acknowledged that it is working on a button that would allow users to amend their entries. Currently, it is being reported that Twitter is also testing features such as Mixed-media, Statuses, and other similar ones. Listed here is all we’ve learned so far about the features that are presently in development and may be deployed in the near future.

Developer Dylan Roussel has discovered a mixed-media capability on the platform that would allow users to publish both photographs and movies at the same time in a single tweet, according to the developer. It is not now feasible to do so; instead, a user can only submit up to three images or videos each tweet. This might change in the near future.

Additionally, Twitter may roll out a new feature called Status, which will be displayed on a user’s profile page when they update their status. According to reports, the micro-blogging site would have “find” and “join” sections that will inform users about other accounts associated with that particular individual. According to a report from 9to5Google, Twitter may also include an award function in the future. As of right present, it is unclear how this will be implemented. It simply states that users may soon be able to reward a tweet, with a gift icon appearing next to the tweet in question, according to the article.

Furthermore, the micro-blogging site has just introduced additional capabilities to its Spaces service. A host will now be able to see how well their audio sessions are going by listening in on them. They will be able to receive data about their Spaces thanks to Twitter. Users of iOS and Android devices will be able to take use of this. It may contain information on how many listeners participated in the session and how many times it was repeated, among other things. The number of persons that engaged in the conversations will also be revealed to the host.

Twitter will also begin to provide additional information about the Spaces, rather than simply the purple card that displays at the top of your timeline, in the near future. The firm has officially announced that it will now display the identity of the host, the topic that is being discussed, who has posted a tweet, and other pertinent information about the broadcast. In addition to this, Twitter is making it easier for participants to locate and follow the speakers who will be speaking at Spaces this year. The identities of the speakers and hosts will now be shown at the conclusion of each audio session, according to the business.
