Since there are so many PS3 emulator(s) available, choosing a good PS4 emulator has become more difficult. Not to mention the PS5 emulator. However, the developer Inorinus has begun to play about with this project a little bit. In fact, Kity, the first PS4/PS5 emulator, was just released by him. Note that the programme is still in the early stages of development and is not yet ready for use.
RPCS3 is one of the several PS3 emulators that are both reliable and up-to-date. The Last of Us, God of War 3, and Uncharted 4 are all readily available for (re)play on a Sony PlayStation 3. Another option is to pay for Playstation Plus Premium, which gives you access to the PS3’s entire library of titles. As of right now, there aren’t a tonne of games available, but there are some cult favourites, including Siphon Filter.

The next PS Plus will be released on June 22, 2022, so we won’t know anything about it until then. In terms of PS4 game emulation, the projects are still in their infancy and no reliable software is available at the time of this writing. The PS5 isn’t even on the list. A console emulator for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 has been announced by developer InoriRus.
It’s called Kity and may be found on GitHub. You should know, though, that the programme is still in its early stages of development, and you shouldn’t expect it to operate at 4K 60 FPS with Ray Tracing enabled on your PC.
Don’t expect to be able to play the most recent PlayStation 4 titles. According to the video posted by InoriRus, performance in Worms WMD for the PS4 is only averaging 15-20 frames per second. Additionally, according to the creator, there is no support for MP4 video format, network playback or multiple users for Kity. Furthermore, no commercial PS5 games can be released at this time. Recall that this will be the third PS4 emulator under development, following Spine and GPCS4.
