Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft, has been open about his background since 1974. Interestingly, he was just eighteen when he wrote the CV. Gates was studying at Harvard when he produced his CV and added a handful of personal data like his height and the finest thing was that he had no pay requirement, no location choice.
Bill Gates posted his first CV on LinkedIn with the statement “Whether you’re a recent grad or a college dropout, I’m confident your résumé looks a lot better than mine did 48 years ago.”
The resume is approximately 48 years old now. It was from the period when Gates was in his first year of college at Harvard University. Gates listed his height on his résumé and indicated that he did not have any wage expectations. His CV also indicates that he is open to move. His résumé also indicated that Gates had taken courses in operating systems structure, database administration, computer graphics, and more. Proudly exposing his results, Gates claimed in the CV that he had achieved an A grade in all the above-mentioned courses he had done.

Gates also stated his familiarity with several programming languages, including FORTRAN, COBOL, ALGOL, BASIC, etc. Before starting Microsoft, Gates, who went on to become one of the richest business tycoons in the world, worked as a systems programmer with TRW Systems Group in 1973. He was also the co-leader and co-partner on contract at the Lakeside School, Seattle in 1972, the résumé discloses. Although Gates thought his 48-year-old resume wasn’t impressive, Twitter users disagreed. Some have pointed out that Gates’ accomplishments at such a young age are more impressive than those of many people who live much longer.
