Try out a new file-sharing experience with Build 25163, which allows you to find and share files with additional devices using the built-in Windows file-sharing pane.
Speculation that Microsoft has cancelled Windows 11 23H2 to focus on minor feature releases, and Build 25163 is not connected to any certain release date. Build 25163’s new features may come in the production channel earlier than planned due to Microsoft’s ambitions to deploy features outside of the major releases.
Windows 10 was meant to be the last version of Windows to receive support other than feature upgrades. When Microsoft stated that Windows 10 is not the final version of Windows and that Windows 11 will replace the previous operating system, basically confirming that Windows 12 is genuine, the entire approach was rethought and revised.
Windows 11 23H2 has been cancelled, and the business hopes to release new Windows versions in the future. This means features featured in Build 25163 will be available sooner than intended, maybe as part of a monthly or cumulative experience pack. After Windows 11 22H2 is released, this may happen.

Windows 11 Build 25163, what’s new?
The much-anticipated taskbar overflow UI has been reintroduced in Windows 11 Build 25163. To improve productivity and workflow when space is at a premium, Microsoft has asserted that the taskbar was developed from scratch.
Microsoft has introduced a new overflow state in Windows 11 that lets you see all of your spilt programmes in one place. The arrow icon lets you view programmes that aren’t on the taskbar by default because of space constraints.
You may see all of your overflowing applications in a single place with the overflow UI. If you don’t want the overflow pane to be visible, you can always dismiss it by clicking outside of the overflow pane or by browsing an application.
An improved proximity sharing experience is also being included in the taskbar refresh. The nearby sharing tool, for those who don’t know, utilises the built-in sharing window in Windows programmes like Explorer, Photos, Xbox, and others.
It has been modified to use UDP and Bluetooth to identify additional nearby devices for file sharing, which requires a private network. As a consequence, more files may be found and sent to devices utilising the native file sharing capability.
Additionally, sharing a local file straight to OneDrive is now possible. Using File Explorer or other programs that use the built-in share UI, choose any file and select OneDrive as the destination in the drop-down menu. In the share UI, you may instantly upload the file to OneDrive if you pick OneDrive.
You don’t have to launch the OneDrive client or switch applications to use this new functionality. As long as Microsoft continues to work on AAD support, it will function for Microsoft accounts for the time being.
