US bans the sale of Huawei, ZTE tech amid security concerns

The US has banned sales and import of the latest communication equipment made by five Chinese companies including Huawei ZTE and Huawei. ZTE due to concerns about national security.

However, the FCC stated that it would like comments on any future changes to the rules governing equipment that is currently authorized to be sold or imported and therefore it’s possible that the current authorisations may be cancelled in the near future.
