It is now simpler than ever before for Reliance Jio members to obtain a data boost thanks to the introduction of the world’s cheapest data pack, which costs only one rupee.
On Tuesday night, a stealthy rollout of this data add-on package took place. This 1 data pack, which is primarily targeted at low-income consumers, is far less expensive than a water sachet, which typically costs between 2 and 5 depending on the locality and the brand.
According to the plan specifications, consumers will get 100MB of 4G data with a 30-day validity period. After the 100MB limit has been reached, the rates will be reduced to 64kbps, which is still sufficient for sending text messages using WhatsApp.
It’s worth noting that this data add-on will provide you with 1GB of data for only 10, which is 50 percent less expensive than Jio’s 1GB data add-on, which is presently available for 15.
This package is also unique in that no other telecom operator provides anything equivalent at these costs, which makes Jio’s 100MB plan even more appealing.
Consider the following examples: Airtel provides a 3GB data plan that costs 58 and has a 28-day validity period, whereas Vodafone Idea charges 19 for a 1GB plan with a 24-hour validity period.
It will be necessary for users who want to recharge with this plan to do so using the MyJio app on their devices since the plan will not be available through the Jio website or other recharge sites.
Also as you all know, all telecom service providers including Jio have increased their plan rates since the beginning of this month. And this newly launched plan will definitely play a benefits card for Jio.
