Ad-Based Netflix Tier Launches Nov. 3 for $6.99 Per Month

The new “Basic with Ads plan adds four to five minutes worth of advertisements per hour of watching. Netflix has launched its new plan for subscriptions to 12 markets.

Netflix’s new ad-based subscription plans go live on November. 3 at $6.99 per month. That’s 3 percent less than the streaming service’s most affordable plans that are ad-free.

Netflix is calling the ad-based level “Basic with Ads.” It’ll be joining Netflix’s other three plans for service including it’s the $9.99-per-month Basic plan as well as the $15.49 Standard plan as well as the $19.99 Premium plan, all of which saw the price increase in January.
