Apple’s first headset with VR and AR technologies may be available in limited quantities

Several reports have suggested that Apple’s first headset will be released later this year, and that it will use a combination of virtual reality and augmented reality, a technology known as mixed reality. We only know so much about this headgear at this point, but more information is constantly being released.

Apple’s headset will be available in limited quantities, according to a new rumour. According to the rumour, the headset will be available in limited quantities in late 2022.
Reputable financial expert Ming-Chi Kuo has made his latest prediction in a note to investors, which was obtained by 9to5Mac. In this note, Kuo stated that the introduction of the first Apple headset will be “delayed until the end of 2022.”

This could suggest that the firm will debut the device at the iPhone event but will not begin distributing the product until the end of the year. It is expected that a sufficient supply of the VR/AR headgear would not be available until the first quarter of 2023, according to him. As a result, only a small number of Apple headsets will be available for purchase at the initial launch.

The latest development, on the other hand, is consistent with Kuo’s previous prediction. He stated that there will be delays in the manufacture of Apple’s initial headset due to the advanced hardware and intricate design, but that the result will be superior to that of competitors.

Kuo, on the other hand, has not provided a specific timeframe for the debut or distribution of the Apple VR/AR headset. However, the restricted distribution is expected to begin around the end of 2022, which could indicate that orders will begin to be accepted in November or December, with shipping to follow in the following months.

As a result, buyers will be familiar with what they are signing up for because Apple is not new to this new approach of ordering and delivering products.
As previously stated, there is little information available to help us envision Apple’s first virtual reality (VR) headset, but several odd rumours have attempted to paint a picture of the device.

Consider, for example, that the first Apple headset will include a “innovative three-display layout,” consisting of two Micro OLED panels and one AMOLED display, according to a recent rumour. The purpose of the three screens, on the other hand, remains a mystery.
Another rumour claimed that the headset would be equipped with advanced sensors for sensing of the surrounding environment and gestures. All of this processing would necessitate the use of a strong chipset, which is now the subject of rumours as well.
For what it’s worth, the first Apple virtual reality/augmented reality headset will be a cutting-edge piece of hardware and technology. And that implies it will demand an unthinkably large sum of money.
According to rumours, the Apple headset would cost as much as $3,000, which is a significant amount of money.
