Opinion: There’s no need to sign up for Microsoft’s Store at the moment.
The beta version of the app was launched version in 2021 Google recently announced new release to its Play Games app for Windows 11 and allows you to download and play a variety of Android games on your PC or tablet.
Although there is a way to download Android applications from Microsoft Store Microsoft Store in Windows 11 through Amazon and Google, this is yet another way to download them only for games and in what is likely to be a more appealing layout, and doesn’t contain bad applications.
Google’s Play Games app(opens in new tab) already offers a variety of fun games that you can play today if you’re located living in the US or any of the other 13 countries. It has me wondering if Google is aware of how difficult it is to separate the best Android apps out of the bad apps available in Microsoft’s Store.
Could Google be doing it all on its own is the case in Windows 11 soon?
Although I’ve already mentioned it the Microsoft Store redesign within Windows 11 has a junk issue with Android apps. There’s not been any effort from either Amazon or Microsoft to address these issues to enhance the quality of applications that are expected to be useful however, they aren’t genuine.
Since Google is currently testing its own app that lets users download directly as well as play Android games it’s instructive. It’s because the deal to allow Android apps to be available in the Store is between Amazon and Microsoft So perhaps Google would like to implement it on their own due to the capability to play Android applications in Windows 11.
However, even though Google is reported to be working towards 2023 to release Play Games for all users within Windows 11, I’m hoping that this will also be the beginning of more applications from Google including productivity applications that could be part of the app or even as its Store app when it comes out.
