It is a possible release date for Google’s long-rumored smartwatch. This year’s Pixel Watch, according to a fresh leak from tipster Jon Processer, is expected to be released on May 26, 2018. There have been several leaks and renderings of the purported Google watch from reputable sources, but the corporation has not issued a single word of confirmation on the matter to the public at large. It has been believed that Google might unveil the Pixel Watch at Google IO 2021. This has since been confirmed. Things, on the other hand, did not turn out the way we expected. Google also confirmed the existence of other reported devices, such as the Pixel 6, Pixel 5a, and the Pixel Watch, but did not unveil the latter.
In a tweet, noted tipster Jon Prosser, who has been correct about most of his product launch predictions, stated that the Google Pixel Watch may eventually be released on May 26. “Pixel Watch is a game where you watch pixels move.” Apparently, Google plans to deploy it on Thursday, May 26th, which would be more than a year after we first revealed its existence. Interestingly, this is the first time we’ve noticed a specific date on the device in the background. “Google is notorious for pushing back deadlines, but we’ll be the first to know if that happens,” he added. Google’s I/O developer conference will take place on the same day as the release date.
Prosser had previously believed that the watch would be released alongside the Pixel 6, but he later disclosed that the launch had been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. His YouTube video also had the entire renderings of the alleged Pixel Watch, which he had previously shared with the community. In the past, it has been disclosed that the Google Pixel Watch has been attacked for being given the Indian name “Rohan.”
It appears that the Pixel Watch will be Google’s offering in its Premium Watch sector, based on leaks and renderings. It appears from the 3D images that the smartwatch will have a thin design with a curved display that wraps around a metallic frame. A large crown button was seen on the right side of the dial, but the report did not specify what the button did or how it worked. Despite the fact that no information regarding the watch’s specs has been released, several trackers such as Maps integration, Heart rate tracking, and a step counter have been discovered on the device’s home page in renderings.
Before the launch of Wear OS, Google conducted a poll to get feedback on the features that users would want to see on the device. It includes features such as SPO2 (oxygenation) tracking, sleep apnea detection, sleep analysis, heartbeat alerts, recovery time monitoring, stress tracking, the linking of medical devices and gym equipment, rep detection, and calorie tracking, among other things. On the Pixel Watch, you may find some of the functions and trackers mentioned above.
