Because they frequently share fascinating Windows content and leak information about impending improvements, the user FireCube has amassed a sizeable following on the social networking platform Twitter. On the other hand, not every day is the same, and today is most certainly not one of those days. This is because FireCube published a fabricated screenshot of a purportedly forthcoming “EdgeOS” Beta that is based on Windows 11. Be mindful, however, that this is a deliberate hoax and is in no way intended to deceive anybody into believing that EdgeOS is a genuine alternative to Google’s Chrome OS.

Even though it is simply meant as a joke, the screenshot is a modified version of a winter window that seems as if it was thrown together very fast. For example, they forgot to update the end of the first line, and the build number does not even line up or space correctly.
And although if it is only for the sake of playful banter, Microsoft’s recent moves about the feature-set of its Edge web browser do make an “EdgeOS” very realistic. This is because the software giant based in Redmond has been steadily incorporating a plethora of new capabilities into Edge over the past several months, essentially turning it into its kind of miniature operating system.
The business has, up to this point, including a complete sidebar that has a calculator, a unit converter, the Photos app, and even connections to the entire office suite as well as the Outlook calendar. In addition to that, it has recently been upgraded to become a gaming browser, which Microsoft claims is “the greatest” currently available. In addition, even more functions of this kind will likely be introduced at a later time.
