As soon as the 5G network is ready to go live in India, it appears that the country has already begun working on the next generation, which is 6G. 6G networks will be available in India by 2030, according to a recent announcement by the Indian government.
India 6G: By 2030, India will have a 6G network
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that the 6G network deployment task group had already begun work at the silver jubilee celebrations of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). More jobs and greater economic advancement will be spurred by the rollout of the 5G and 6G networks, according to him. He said this in an interview with CNBC.
His remarks also focused on how India quickly moved from 3G to 4G and how it is now aiming for 6G as the 5G network is about to go live. While blaming Congress for the 2G era of policy stagnation and dissatisfaction, the government hailed TRAI for the smoother and faster transitions to 3G and 4G.

It would be a boon for agriculture, health and education, infrastructure, and logistics if the latest network was modernised more. Consequently, it is imperative that the 5G network be rolled out at the earliest opportunity.
Estimation of 5G in India
The 5G network is expected to be operational over the next few months. Although no specific date has been set for the rollout of the new network, the Indian government has hinted that it will be ready within the next few months. The 5G test bed was completed by the end of December 2021, and the auction for 5G spectrum is currently scheduled for early June. Finally, the rollout of 5G will take place in August or September, after this is completed. India might gain $450 billion (about Rs 3,492 crore) from the 5G debut, Prime Minister Modi claimed.
The 5G network would first be made available in just 13 major Indian cities, as the trials were conducted only there. Kolkata, Delhi, Gurugram, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune, Chandigarh, Jamnagar, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow, and Gandhi Nagar are among the cities mentioned here.
