Instagram has announced a new tool that lets users respond to comments on their Instagram posts using reels, according to the company. Users will be able to add a sticker or a note to a new reel that they have uploaded using the new functionality. It, on the other hand, does not enable users to directly remark on a post with a reel, but rather with a sticker for ordinary postings and the ability to alter the color of the sticker. TikTok already has a function that enables users to react to postings with sticker comments, and this feature is comparable to that.
Users must first publish a reel on their Instagram account before they can respond with one. If someone makes a remark on their reel, they may respond by creating another reel and uploading it to YouTube. Users will be forced to respond to a remark by clicking on Reply, following which they will get a pop-up requesting them to Reply with a Reel.
Users may then choose to produce a video response by tapping on the blue reels button. The video reply will be pinned to the remark, just like any other reply, and other users will be able to watch it as well as the creator.
According to a report on The Verge, the capability may be used to respond to comments on Reels at the time of publication. Instagram users are unable to create a reel in response to a remark on one of their photographs or videos, or in response to comments on other people’s Reels on the platform.
“We like the communities that Instagrammers have created for themselves. The reason for this is because we’re delighted to introduce reels visual responses,” Instagram said in a statement announcing the new feature.
Instagram users in India have lately been given the option to include music on their feeds. Until recently, users could either contribute music to tales or to the Reels and not both at the same time. Users may now upload music to their feeds on the Meta-owned social networking platform, which was previously unavailable.
Users may include music in their postings by selecting the Add Music option from the drop-down menu that appears when they are uploading the photo. Besides browsing for music in the Trending and For You portions of the prompt, users may search for particular songs in the Search box and browse for music in the Search field.
Users may choose a song from their search results and include it in their posts after searching for it. The duration of the clip may also be edited, and the amount of time they want to include in the post can be chosen.
