Apple’s approach might alter with the release of the iPhone 14 series, following the lead of Android OEMs. Users may have to fork out more money if they want the greatest and most up-to-date technology out of the box for the lower-end model in the series. The ordinary iPhone 14 model is predicted to keep the existing design and processor, however the Pro versions are expected to receive considerable changes in most aspects. In the meanwhile, here’s everything we know about the next iPhone 14 series: 1.
Expected release date for the iPhone 14 series
iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max are all scheduled to be unveiled by Apple. The introduction of the new iPhones is still too early for Apple to disclose, but based on prior releases, we may expect it to happen in September of this year.
Pricing
The pricing of the new iPhones has already appeared online ahead of their official release. The beginning price of the iPhone 14 Pro might be $1,099, which is a $100 increase above the $999 pricing of the iPhone 13 Pro. The iPhone 13 Pro was priced at Rs 1,19,900 when it went on sale in India. A similar rise in cost is possible with the iPhone 14 Pro Max. There have been rumours that it costs $1,199 (about Rs 93,010) in the United States.
Apple’s iPhone 14 series is all about design
The design of the iPhone 14 is likely to be influenced by the design of the iPhone 13 series. Front-facing changes are possible. It’s possible, though, that this only applies to the more costly iPhone 14 Pro Max and 14 Pro versions. As with other Android phones, the two devices are expected to include a punched-hole display. The upgraded 48-megapixel sensor, which we’ll cover about later, might lead to greater rear camera bumps on the handsets. iPhone 14 is expected to sport a notch like the one we’ve already seen on iPhone 13 models.
According to a number of sources, Apple plans to unveil a new model in the iPhone series and this may be the iPhone 14 Max. With a big display, this model may slot somewhere in the middle of the normal and Pro lines. The design of all cellphones is anticipated to be identical to that of earlier models.

iPhone 14 series: Display
It is thought that the Pro versions would have 120Hz screens, while the other two variants are expected to have the usual 60Hz displays. According to rumours, both the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Pro will have a 6.1-inch OLED display with a 1170 x 2532 resolution when they are released. The upcoming iPhone Max and the Pro Max might feature a 6.7-inch screen with a 1284 x 2778 resolution, making them the largest iPhones ever.
Processor
Apple’s 14th-generation iPhones have a new generation of processors, storage, and memory.
The new processor may not be included in all iPhone 14 models when they are released later this year. This year’s iPhone 14 is expected to contain a Bionic A15 processor, whilst the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max are expected to use Bionic A16 chipsets.
This is a practise that Android OEMs are engaging in. The companies are introducing at least three phones in a series and only providing the high-end version of their flagship chips.. It’s likely that the Pro variants would have up to 2TB of storage and 8GB of RAM, too.
The specifics of the iPhone’s battery unit are unclear since Apple does not release it. New phones with greater battery life are likely to be released by the business, though.
Camera
The Pro variants are said to include camera upgrades. With a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor, they’re likely to outperform current iPhone 13 Pro versions in terms of sensor size. A 12-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with a 2.5x magnification might be included. One report claims that LG is now Apple’s primary supplier of the iPhone’s front camera, and this might cost the corporation three times what it spent for prior versions.
Autofocus is planned to be included to the devices, as opposed to the existing versions’ fixed focus. Video conversations and portraits will benefit from enhanced focus thanks to this. The 12-megapixel primary camera and a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera sensor are expected to be included in both the normal and the larger iPhone 14 Max versions, according to reports. There might be a 12-megapixel selfie camera on the front of the phone.
