If you can recall the October 2022, Jio launced the first generation of Jiobook at the India Mobile Congress. The first generation JioBook boasted an 11.6-inch display with the Snapdragon 665 SoC, and was powered by a 5000mAh battery.
This budget-friendly laptop was a result of collaboration between the Mukesh Ambani-led conglomerate and tech giants Qualcomm and Microsoft. It seeks to emulate the triumph of Reliance’s low-cost JioPhone, catering to the price-sensitive Indian market. Jiobook was pretty good as it helped the company aims to expand its success and influence in the technology sector.
The Latest Jiobook Release
The JioBook (2023), the company’s second model of laptop, was introduced on July 31 in India as part of a new product launch. The brand-new laptop has a chassis made of plastic, and it is driven by an octa-core processor that is manufactured by Mediatek. The JioBook 4G is available in a color called JioBlue and comes with a Jio SIM card already installed.
The low-cost laptop comes with a variety of connectivity choices, including as dual-band Wi-Fi, as well as an HDMI micro port. The JioBook (2023) is powered by a battery with a capacity of 5,000 mAh, and Reliance Jio claims that it can run for up to 8 hours on a single charge of the battery.
Regarding the capacity of its storage, it provides users with 100 GB of cloud space through its partnership with Digital Cloud Storage Partner of India. It has a RAM capacity of 4GB and an internal storage capacity of 64GB. In addition to it, a JD webcam and stereo speakers are included. With a matte finish and a weight of 990 grams, the laptop weighs slightly under one kilogram.
