Published:

We’re racing for another Realme GT

The Realme GT line excels at providing premium features at only a fraction of the cost. They excel at this that they’re frequently ranked as contenders in our top Android phones, and even the top phones lists, and we’re eagerly awaiting the release of the Realme GT 3.

We may not be waiting too long The powerful phone may arrive in 2023. We’ll go over in details about the expected release date and cost, as well as the few details we’ve heard about the specs and capabilities.

If we learn more, we’ll be adding this information to our report, but in the meantime, here’s an overview of the features we’d like to see in Realme GT 3. Realme GT 3.

Then, let’s cut to the chase.

  • What’s it about? The next mid-ranger that is powerful from Realme
  • When will it be released? It could be in 2023 or early 2023.
  • What will it cost? You can expect a price that is mid-range

Realme GT 3: release date and price

We’re not sure what time the Realme GT 3 will launch but it is possible to launch in early 2023 considering how Realme GT 2 was announced in January 2022. Realme GT 2 was announced in January 2022. the first Realme GT landed in March 2021.

Since most phones are launched about a year or so after the predecessors they replaced, our most likely estimate is for the month of January 2023. However, a date during the first couple of weeks of January is to be very likely.

We’re not sure how much it will cost for the Realme GT 3 will cost also, however, we do know that Realme GT 2 started at PS499 (around $660, which is equivalent to AU$885) So a similar price could be possible.

However, as you can see from the price-conversions the prior model was not available in all regions and, even though we’re sure that Realme GT 3 – and any other siblings similar to those of Realme GT 3 Pro – is likely to be available in the UK We’re not certain about other countries.

Realme GT 3: news and leaks

There’s not much in direction of Realme GT 3 announcements as of yet, however it’s likely that the Snapdragon 8 Generation 2 processor has been revealed and, while Realme hasn’t announced the use of the chipset in its future phones, it’s likely to be, given that it was the case with Realme GT 2 Pro was equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Snapdragon 8 Gen1 just a year earlier.

Therefore, we’d expect the possibility of Realme GT 3 Pro will use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Realme GT 3 Pro will make use of an 8 Plus Gen 2 processor. Snapdragon 8 Generation 2 processor, however, based on the previous form and specifications, the regular Realme GT 3 might be stuck with an older processor possibly 8 Gen 1 or 8 Plus Gen 1.

The latest Gen 2 is likely to be the most powerful chip that we will see in Android phones at the very least the first second half of 2023. Therefore, this Realme GT 3 Pro will not be a slouch when it uses this chip.

What do we are looking forward to seeing

As good as it is that the Realme GT 2 is – getting 4.5 points in the review, there’s always an opportunity to improve, therefore, with the Realme GT 3 we want to observe the following features.

1. Better secondary cameras

Its primary camera works great However, We found that its ultra-wide mediocre and the macro quite bad. There’s certainly room for improvement in the Realme GT 3.

We’d like to see genuine improvements to the ultra-wide camera and, ideally, for the macro snapper to be replaced by an telephoto, or taken out completely, so Realme can concentrate on making two excellent cameras.

2. More refined software

Although the user interface of the Realme GT 2 is generally clear and user-friendly but it’s not as elegant as we’d like and was plagued by a variety of bugs throughout our review.

The lack of care for the smallest details was disappointing. although improvements be made since the launch, we’d prefer to see a polishedand user-friendly interface right from the beginning for Realme GT 3. Realme GT 3.

3. Better battery life

The Realme GT 2 doesn’t have poor battery life, but neither is it a great phone, particularly with 120Hz refresh rates – that’s what you’ll most likely need to use if you’ve put in the money to buy a device with this feature.

We’d love to see improvements in this area to this model, the Realme GT 3. The good thing is that this could be feasible, as at 4,500mAh the battery in the Realme GT 2 isn’t a huge one, and there’s room to add a larger capacity for the next model.

4. Wireless charging

Although this Realme GT 2 charges at an impressive 65W when it’s connected, it doesn’t charge wirelessly at all it’s a pity for a device that comes with many other top-of-the-line specifications and capabilities.

This is likely among the methods the way that Realme managed to keep the price down and the comparatively affordable cost is among the GT 2’s biggest selling points, and we’d like to see it remain the case. However, if it’s feasible to add wireless charging capability to the Realme GT 3, then we’d also like it.

5. Water resistance

Another possible cost-saving measure is because there isn’t the water resistance rating of the Realme GT 2, but although it’s not an overly costly phone, it’s expensive enough for us to have confidence that it will endure any splash.

It’s likely that it’s a good thing that the Realme GT 3 will have water resistance, specifically since it’s becoming a standard feature on mid-range phones and above. It’s definitely a feature that will make to make the Realme GT 3 distinguish itself from its predecessors and be among the top Realme phones.
