Attention console gamers, rejoice! Sony is gearing up for the launch of its latest console, the PlayStation 5 Slim, in India. Unveiled last October and initially available in the United States, the PlayStation 5 Slim is set to hit Indian markets starting April 5.
The new PlayStation 5 will come in two variants: one with a disc reader and the other without, catering to different preferences.
In terms of physical changes, the PlayStation 5 Slim boasts a 30 percent reduction in size and a 25 percent decrease in weight compared to the original PS5 model. Despite its sleeker profile, the upcoming console doesn’t compromise on storage capacity, offering a generous 1TB of space. Additionally, users can expand storage using external SSDs.
Visually, the PlayStation 5 Slim maintains the clean and modern design of its predecessor. However, there’s a slight alteration in the number of side plates; while the previous edition featured two, the Slim version will come with four.
Talking about the feature –
Another noteworthy feature of the PlayStation 5 Slim is the inclusion of an extra plate designed to accommodate a detachable Blu-ray disk drive. This addition offers users greater flexibility, allowing them to choose their preferred configuration based on their needs.
Furthermore, there’s a significant difference between the two models in terms of port selection. While the previous model featured a USB-C and a USB-A port, the new PS5 Slim comes equipped with two USB-C ports positioned at the front of the case, enhancing accessibility and connectivity options.
