CoTweets, which Twitter refers to as a “new way to Tweet together,” is now undergoing beta testing on the social media platform. By using this functionality, two different accounts will be able to write a tweet together. In addition, the profile pictures and usernames of everyone who contributed to the shared tweet will be included in it. According to the corporation, this function is now only accessible to a limited number of customers in the United States of America, Canada, and Korea because it is in the testing phase at the present time. According to the firm, qualified Twitter users now have the ability to issue invites to other users so that they may participate in CoTweet.

According to a tweet that was sent out by the Twitter Create account, the social media platform is now conducting testing on a new feature called CoTweets. This feature will make it possible for two accounts to co-author a tweet together. The profile images and handles of both users will be displayed in the tweet that they co-authored together.
According to the company’s explanation, “A CoTweet is a co-authored Tweet that is sent simultaneously to both writers’ accounts and their followers’ timelines.” CoTweets are becoming increasingly popular on Twitter. Users will be able to identify a CoTweet when they see the profile images and usernames of both writers in the header of the post that contains the CoTweet.
The CoTweets function is still undergoing testing and is currently only available to a select number of users in the United States of America, Canada, and Korea. On the other hand, Twitter Create includes the following disclaimer: “At the conclusion of this experiment, we may switch off this functionality, and any CoTweets that were made may be erased.”
In the meanwhile, Twitter users who are eligible to produce a CoTweet can do so by going to the Tweet composer. After that, they will need to add the message that they co-authored and then tap the icon for the CoTweet feature. After that, they will need to choose a co-author from among their followers and then give that person an invitation. Users will only be allowed to amend a tweet that was co-authored before they send out an invitation to their followers. According to the company’s policy, users will be required to start over in the event that they need to change the tweet after it has already been sent as an invitation.
