A dedicated WhatsApp app for the iPad has long been requested by customers, but the firm has yet to develop one. WhatsApp has tested an iPad app multiple times, but it never made it into the final product. WhatsApp, on the other hand, has been seen working on the Multi-device 2.0 and may soon release an iPad version. For the time being, WhatsApp does not enable users to log in to a single account from two separate phones, despite the fact that the multi-device capability allows for this.
“Multi-device 2.0 will enable individuals attach a second mobile phone or tablet (WhatsApp for iPad/Android tablet) to the same WhatsApp account in the future,” Wabetainfo said with an image of the iPad app. The iPad version of WhatsApp hasn’t been confirmed to contain all of the same functionality as the desktop version and the phone version of the app. WhatsApp is also working on a MacOS version in addition to the iPad version.

As of the now, WhatsApp isn’t tablet-friendly. You may still use WhatsApp on tablets by downloading the mobile app from the App Store or Play Store, depending on your tablet’s operating system.
WhatsApp finally made the multi-device capability available to everyone after working on it for over three years. For the time being, the functionality allows you to use WhatsApp from four distinct accounts on the same account. Laptops or laptops might serve as secondary devices if you only have one primary phone.
If you’re not connected to your phone, you’ll be able to utilize all of the features currently accessible in the public versions of WhatsApp Web, Desktop and Portal,” a WhatsApp spokesman explained. People who utilize Desktop/Web and Portal will benefit instantly from our multi-device functionality. It will also enable the addition of compatibility for more device types in the future,” the representative stated.
