WhatsApp Message Timer Feature for Existing Chats in Testing on Android

WhatsApp Message Timer feature: WhatsApp is working on making the message timing functionality work with current chats as well as new ones. It presently allows users to establish new individual conversations with the message timer functionality switched on by default, which is a feature that many users would like.

This upgrade to the message timing function is now in the works for WhatsApp for Android beta users, according to the company’s announcement. In related news, WhatsApp is apparently working on a revised security page that will be included in the newest edition of the WhatsApp Desktop beta, according to reports. According to reports, a similar revised security screen has already been implemented in the WhatsApp beta for Android.

The WhatsApp features tracker WABetainfo has published a fresh report stating that the company is working on a new beta release for its Android application with the version number 2.22.11.11.

Users who have signed up for the Google Play Beta Program may begin to receive this update shortly after doing so. This, as previously stated, is supposed to be the first step towards bringing the message timing functionality to current conversations. While the present function only allows users to establish new individual conversations with vanishing messages, this new feature will allow users to pick and activate the message timer on several existing chats at the same time, as opposed to using the current capability.

WhatsApp users will then be given the choice of selecting a timeframe of 24 hours, 7 days, or 90 days.. The specified conversations will begin to receive vanishing messages as soon as the feature is turned on. Because this feature is presently only accessible in the beta build, there is no clear indication as to if or when it will be made available to the general public. Interestingly, whatsapp message timer feature will be sort of attraction for users.

According to reports, the Meta-owned firm is also experimenting with new features for the WhatsApp Desktop client in a new beta release. A makeover of the desktop app’s security page is allegedly in the works, and it is possible that it may be released in a future version.

The new security page, according to reports, provides information to users about the many components of the app that are protected by strong end-to-end encryption. Text/voice messaging, audio/video conversations, location sharing, status updates, and the sharing of photographs, videos, and documents are all examples of what will be available.
