Microsoft has designated this year’s fall update as Windows 10 version 21H2 in order to distinguish it from previous releases. The feature update is now only available to “seekers” in the Release Preview Channel and Beta Channel for unsupported Windows 11 PCs, which means that individuals who actively check for updates will be offered the feature update for the time being.
Windows 10 21H2 has already been feature-locked, and it has reached a point where it is no longer possible to make significant changes. Microsoft is currently focused on stabilizing the operating system. The Windows 10 October 2021 Update is rumored to be just around the horizon, and Microsoft has already released a new cumulative update to help people prepare for the arrival of this new version of Windows.
Build 19044.1263 or newer is most likely to be the last build that will be given to consumers in October 2021, according to Microsoft. This is due to the fact that Microsoft has now published Windows 10 ISO images for Build 19044.1263 in the Windows Insider program, and it is also rolling out to all testers who are participating in the program.
A large cumulative update with bug fixes is expected to be delivered in the last week of October 2021, as Microsoft is presently working on smart home to squashing bugs that have surfaced during final testing.
Rumors of a Windows 10 21H2 Update

It is unlikely that Windows 10 will undergo significant changes following the October 2021 Update, and there will be no new features in version 21H2.
Additionally, we’ve heard that Microsoft Photos, Clock, Mails, and Calendar on Windows 10 will receive enhancements, but Microsoft hasn’t stated when these Windows 11 apps will be made available on Windows 10 computers.
Microsoft has only stated that the Windows 10 Store app would be updated to have a more Windows 11-like design in the fall of this year and that more information will be released later on in the year.
