Windows 11 physical copy released by Microsoft

Windows 11 Physical Copy: Windows 11 has been released for nearly half a year at this point, but if you’ve been wanting to acquire a physical copy of the OS, now is the time to do it. Until today, the only option to receive Windows 11 was to update your Windows 10 PC or buy a new PC with Windows 11 installed out of the box. However, it has recently been discovered that Windows 11 Home and Pro may now be purchased in physical form.

On MSFT, Twitter user Luke Blevins first discovered the retail copies over the weekend, although they may have been around for a lengthier period of time. Six months after their official introduction, the goods’ Best Buy availability dates put their initial release on April 14, 2019. Even still, it’s likely that many people were unaware because Microsoft made no announcements about the availability of physical copies.

At first look, purchasing a physical copy isn’t necessary. Most laptops already come with Windows 11 anyhow, and if they come with Windows 10, you can easily upgrade it yourself. The licence can also be purchased online. But the actual copy does provide you a USB flash drive to use as installation material right out of the box. Installing Windows 11 from a USB flash drive isn’t required, but it does make life a little bit easier if you’re doing it on a freshly constructed PC. If you’re into collecting this sort of stuff, you’ll get a nice small box with this purchase. Windows 11’s Bloom backdrop is clearly shown on the box, and the light or dark look for Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro provides for more visually appealing packaging than Windows 10’s.

There is no difference in price between the physical and digital editions of Windows 11 Home, which costs $139.99 and Windows 11 Pro, which costs $199.99. The license is good for a single PC. Keep in mind that a stable installation of Windows 11 will necessitate a computer that meets the system requirements for Windows 11. If you’d want to purchase it, you may do so here.
