Microsoft is testing its Windows 11 version 22H2 over the last few months. It includes a variety of improvements like app folders that appear in the menu bar at start, the ability for users to drag and drop from the taskbar, as well as new animations and touch gestures. Microsoft will also include an entirely brand new Live Captions accessibility feature with 22H2, which is great for those who are hearing impaired or just want to automatically caption audio. In addition, a brand innovative Voice Access tool that allows users to control their computers through voice commands is also part of 22H2.
The Task Manager is also getting a revamp by Windows 11 in 22H2, which includes the introduction of a dark mode as well as an improved layout. It also includes a brand-new command bar as well as an efficiency mode to prevent apps from using up resources. Snap Layouts will be significantly enhanced with 22H2, making it simpler to drag them and apps to display all layouts you can apply to organize apps.
Microsoft is also developing tabs to File Explorer, which will be released a bit earlier than the 20th of September. Windows Central reports that another 22H2 update is planned later in the year, which will include File Explorer tabs and a new suggestion feature.
