Windows 11 hasn’t been with us for long however, there are stories that Microsoft is currently working on the successor to Windows 11, Windows 12.
Although there aren’t any screenshots or other information to see in the case of Windows 12 just yet, we have asked an AI text-to-image software to provide us with its thoughts of what the upcoming operating system could look like.
There are many AI-powered text-to image generators that are in use today or expected to be available in the near future. The most popular of these are DALL-E 2, but there are many others such as Stable Diffusion, Google’s Imagen and TikTok is now offering basic AI green screen effects.
To test our hypothesis we utilized Midjourney, which is run through the Discord server. We requested it to generate an image that resembled “Windows 12” and then re-tune the request to generate a screenshapes of Windows 12 wallpaper, the outcomes of which we up-scaled.
The images were clearly in the style of both Windows 10 and Windows 11 The wallpaper should appear at home on any of those operating systems or perhaps older.
