It would appear that Microsoft is currently working on a specialised Xbox Dynamic backgrounds editor tool; however, there is a possibility that it will only be available for usage by game developers and not by game players themselves.
According to observations made by Tom Warren of The Verge, Microsoft appears to be working on a new feature that would let Xbox owners to build personalised dynamic backgrounds for their games. Another Twitter user and Xbox leaker, @ALumia Italia, released a screenshot of the tool after previously revealing a hidden ‘Unnamed Project’ for Xbox. Warren retweets this user’s post in their own tweet, which can be found here.
According to the appearance of the GIF that was shared by @ALumia Italia, Xbox users may soon be able to animate their own dynamic backgrounds by making use of images that they have uploaded to the app as well as a variety of effects that will bring the images to life. This information was gleaned from the GIF that was shared.

However, Warren has also pointed out in a follow-up tweet that “this tool is likely only for game developers, rather than Xbox customers.” This information should be taken into consideration before you start planning what your next dynamic wallpaper will look like. There is a possibility that you will not be able to design your own backdrops after all. It is also important to note that this new feature is not yet available to the general public, nor has it been formally published by Microsoft; therefore, there is always the possibility that it will not be included in the final product at all.
In other news about Xbox, it was recently disclosed that the company is apparently planning to offer its own own game streaming devices as well as cloud TV apps within the next year. A recent report suggests that Microsoft’s Xbox division is working on a “Roku-like” plugin that will enable users to broadcast Xbox games from the cloud. It will reportedly enable “movie and TV services” along with other cloud-supported games such as Fortnite when it is published alongside a Samsung smart TV app. This software will reportedly be deployed simultaneously.
